To pursue any sport towards an elite level, especially individual sports, requires a relentless pursuit of the mastery of craft.
The sport of target shooting is no exception; except that, I believe, it defines this level of mastery on an entirely different spectrum. It is a sport that demands awareness, stillness and unfazed composure; a sport where battles are won on the inside; but most importantly, it is a sport that teaches you to accept yourself in order to become yourself, should you allow it to.
And that my fellow readers, I believe, beyond any medals/victories, is the one of greatest gift any sport can gift to a person.
